Debt Consolidation

Posted by Lara

Have you ever been in a financial nightmare? Hubby and I can relate to this, oh it was horrible. It started when hubby lost his job for almost a year and wasn’t able to find another job that paid as much as he had used to. Though he found a job but it wasn’t enough to pay for our monthly bills and because of this we used his credit cards to be able to pay mostly of our monthly bills only to find out that our credit card bills have skyrocketed and our monthly bills have soared since we had to pay our credit card’s monthly dues plus our mortgage payment. It was overwhelming, hubby and I thought of ways on how to lower our monthly bills and be able to get out from credit card debts and the only solution we came up was apply for a Debt consolidation through refinancing. For us, it surely worked because we were able to pay all our credit card debts and was also able to save some money in the bank and to top it all we pay less now since we don’t have to pay our monthly dues for the credit card aside from the mortgage payment every month. Although our mortgage payment have increased a little bit but not as much compared to paying our credit card bills separately. We made the right decision to apply for a Debt consolidation and with this we were able to free ourselves from huge credit card bills and we were able to get out from financial nightmare.

Your not alone, I had problems with credit card debts mounting up and found debt consolidation to be the only way out. However, I did shop around online checking out various price comparison websites such as eComparison to see which lender offered me the best deal.

When getting professional guidance, obtain a free debt consolidation quote from a trusted credit counselor. With this, you could lower your payments or settle for a reduced amount.

Debt consolidation involves tackling one major issue at a time. If you attempt to service all of your debt simultaneously with a limited amount of funds, you could stretch yourself too thin, leaving you without enough money to buy month-to-month essentials.
