The Dollar Tree Store

Today, we went to the Dollar Tree Store which just recently opened here in Grand Junction, CO. The first time I saw it when it was just built I was so excited when I saw that they would sell items in a dollar. Not just selected items but everything is a dollar. Isn't it cheap? I love to go to thrift stores, why would I buy expensive stuffs when I can buy it for cheaper price?
The good thing about this Dollar Tree Store is it is located right next to Wal-Mart and it's very accessible from where we live and an easy drive going there too. Hmmm, now I have another place to hang out when I want to sneak. Too bad the store is not that big and don't sell clothings and shoes.

It's friday again! Wow, I couldn't believe how the days go by so swiftly. Time flies by so fast isn't it? June is about to come to an end and by next week it's gonna be July. PPP and SS Technical Problems

I tried to log in to my PPP account earlier this afternoon to check if I could grab any Opp but it won't let me. Instead, the page would say "error" and I thought it was my server or maybe my laptop. I tried it over and over but still to no avail. So, I thought of logging in to my SS account instead but it won't let me either. When you go to SocialSpark's website the page would say that "Most of IZEA's property are currently experiencing technical difficulties due to connectivity issues at our datacenter. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we're doing everything possible to get the page you were looking for back online soon!"
Well, hopefully their site will be fixed soon and be accessible online again so every blogger will be able to access their accounts and be able to grab Opps.

Lots of Opps but.......

I check Triple P this morning and Oh, got excited to see lots of Opps but they were all taken. Maybe I was too late then, I keep clicking and refreshing just incase one of these Opp will turn white or yellow but still no luck up to this time. Why is it so hard to catch all these Opps? I was thinking if it's my computer or my browser coz I'm using IE but then I tried Mozilla and still nothing to grab. Well hopefully tonight before those Opps are gone I could grab at least one.

I'm glad to see my brats

It's nice to be back home after a week of family vacation in Las Vegas. Though hubby and I were on a vegas trip last March but this time's Vegas trip was a family vacation where we took with us the children. Hubby and I had a great time as well as the children. Though I miss Bandit and Tiger so much, I kept thinking about them the whole time we were in Vegas for a week. Just glad to see them again last night when we got home. Bandit and Tiger were so happy also to see us.

Mom's Visit

Mom came by today to see me before she and stepdad go for a doctor's appointment.It was nice to see both of them since hubby and me only see them once a week when they come to town for their doctor's appointment. They live in Montrose, Colorado which is an hour away from us. When mom come by, she always has something for me some sort of a treat and today she brought me baked beans which I really liked. I told her I have been craving for her baked beans since it has been awhile that I have it. Then she told me, I should have told her if I want some so she could cook it for me. How sweet is that? I felt so blessed to have a mom like her, though she is my mom-in-law but she treats me like one of her own daughter. She is a very loving and sweet mom and I could never ask for anything. I think one of the reasons that I never felt homesick since I left the Philippines is because of the love, care and acceptance I receive not only from my hubby but for my in-laws also. Everytime people ask me if I miss my family home or I get homesick, I always tell them yes but not much.Hmmm, am I bad? he,he, just felt so at home with my new family here in the US.
